GLAPD welcomes Jessica McGowan as Director of programs
GLAPD is happy to announce that Jessica McGowan has joined GLAPD as Director of Programs. Jessica is Australian born and she has a Master degree in Public Health from the University of Sydney.
Jessica is a Research Associate in the School of Social Sciences at the University of New South Wales and a Registered Nurse. Previously she worked as a health worker in Kenya and she currently works part-time at a private health clinic in Sydney. She is a member of the Australian Board for Hope for Orphans and Vulnerable Children, a Ugandan-based NGO. Jessica is interested in working with refugee communities and has a strong interests in health and development issues, both globally and in Australia.
Jessica will be working in the GLAPD office in Silverwater every Monday from 10.00 am. – 4.00 pm. You can reach Jessica by email on firstname.lastname@example.org
