Oh Happy Day! – African Childrens Choir in Sydney
Kwaya and Timbre Flaws Community Choir present The African Children’s Choir in Sydney.
Fresh from Performing for The Queen’s Jubilee concert, The African Children’s Choir is performing in Sydney.
Timbre Flaws is one of a number of groups around Australia hosting The African Children’s Choir on their 1st ever Australian tour!
The tour is a fund-raiser for the great work the The African Children’s Choir organisation does in Uganda, including schooling and housing very poor kids. All proceeds of the concert return to Uganda to support The African Children’s Choir.
The idea is this : as part of their schooling all the kids train in music and dance. Each year a fresh group goes out into the world to raise the profile of, and raise money for, the school. Therefore each child gets a complete education and spends part of one year travelling and performing to raise money.
Please support this great cause – it should be good night.
