Reconnecting communities in conflict.

The Great Lakes Agency for Peace and Development Internatioanl (GLAPD Int.)  in partnership with the Centre for Peace and Conflict Studies University of Sydney launched “Reconnecting communities in conflict” project in early 2015 with community consultations with four communities from the Great Lakes region of Africa comprised of Rwanda, Uganda, Burundi and D.R. Congo. The first workshop involving the four Great Lakes diaspora communities took place in February 2016 and a serie of sessions is planned to take place.
